Post Lake Silverwood
so this is my first EVER trip to go fishing at silverwood
any tips or suggestions? im used to fishing cachuma, castaic lake and lagoon, piru, casitas, and cachuma, but NEVER silverwood
any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would throw shallow and deep running suspending jerkbaits and topwater to find fish. I would bring the frog rod for any mats out there.

I would plan to fish it just like Cachuma. Frogs and horney toads....buzzbaits...try to get the angles on the weed mats and the points...that should fill the morning... :lol:

MATS A PLENTY AT SILVERWOOD! :lol:
got 1 largie on a heddon popper but that was about it :?
cousin got 2 more on some frogs like you guys said,
