So I loan my Ranger Z-21 Intracoastal to my SWBA partner James Nelson so he could fish the San Diego Bass Bass Open last weekend with a buddy. James' boat was in the shop. Electrical issues. He came by last Friday and picked up the boat. I wasn't fishing because I had volunteered for the Riverside County Academic Decathalon as a speech judge (good thing it wasn't spelling). Around 8:30 I get a voice message from James. I call him up and he says something like 'I am going to apologize right now. You aren't going to like this call. I broke the trolling motor." Flash forward to Saturday night. James brings the boat back. We disconnect the trolling motor. James takes the trolling motor to Lakewood bright and early and asks Nick "The Trolling Motor Doctor" if there is any way he can have if fixed before our tournament on Saturday out of Long Beach.
Well, Thursday I get a call from Nick and he says it's ready to go. Everything was covered under warranty! Yahoo!!

GREAT!! THANK YOU NICK THE TROLLING MOTOR DOCTOR!

James goes by Friday morning and picks up the trolling motor.

Thanks James for the 'You borrow it. You break it. You fix it attitude.' and the half a tank of gas.

Side note. The SWBA Long Beach Tournament was Cancelled at 5:30 AM on Saturday due to bad weather. But we were ready thanks to Nick.
