Dakine, as most people will tell you, right now there is a lot of grass at Piru. But to me, the key is fishing the grass you can find out deep, and not along the shore. Check the middle of the narrows for the edges of grass you can find on the old river channel breaks. They are not huge changes of depth, but rather 2-3 feet. Early in the morning, try frogs over the matted grass, and topwaters in the grass openings,,,,but once the sun gets on the water, go to a Texas rigged dropshot pitched in the holes created by the grass,,, Oxblood light or Peoples Pro staff 6" Robos will work well. Hope that helps a little!
